Swimming Pool

The Community Swimming Pool is open every year from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Check back in spring for details on timing.

Rules & Etiquette
1. The following rules and regulations are for the protection and comfort for all who use the pool facility.
2. Only residents of Cambridge Heights and their guests with proper pool passes will be permitted to use the pool. No one will be admitted into the pool area without a proper pool badge. (Children under 3 do not need a badge) Pool badges must be visible at all times and attached to your bathing suit. You must show your pool badge to the lifeguard and sign in upon entering the pool area. If you do not have a badge, you will not be allowed entry.
3.The pool and the surrounding area may not be used unless a lifeguard is present.
4.Owners will be responsible for any property damage caused by themselves, members of their family or their guests. The cost of such damage will be charged to the responsible owner.
5. Glass is strictly prohibited in the pool area. Non-alcoholic beverages in unbreakable containers are permitted. All garbage must be disposed of properly.
6.Children, under the age of 13, must be accompanied by an adult while in the pool area.
7. Running, ball playing or horseplay will not be tolerated.
8. Children who are not yet toilet trained will not be permitted in the pool. They must be wearing state approved water diapers, (Huggies Little Swimmers) NO CHANGING OF DIAPERS ON THE POOL TABLES.
9. No diving or jumping off the side of the pool, no exceptions.
10.Pool may be closed at the discretion of the pool management staff for any valid reason, i.e. maintenance, health conditions, weather, etc
11. The Lifeguard is present for the safety of all pool patrons. Please do not engage the guards in lengthy discussions or debates on the pool rules. Please direct your questions or comments to the Management staff at the on-site office.
12. The Association has zero tolerance for violation of pool rules. The pool staff has complete authority to make any decision necessary to ensure safety and sanitary operation of the pool facilities.
13. The bathrooms & showers are used often during the summer. Although we understand that people will be wet, we do ask that you dry yourself and your children as much as possible before entering the bathrooms.
14. Swimmies (water wings) and Coast Guard –approved life vests will only be permitted when the child’s parent or designated adult is in the pool so they may assist the child if the need arises.
15. Flotation device, that only supports a child solely from the back, will not be permitted under any circumstances.
16.Other flotation devices shall be judged acceptable by the lifeguards on an individual basis. Rafts, inner tubes and other floats are prohibited. Please read the rules carefully, since it is very important for everyone to be aware of the requirements and procedures. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the management office.
